INCubatoredu gives students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a real way while they develop their own business startup. Students will be guided by a mentor or coach in each class, who help with the projects they are working on, like removable foot pads that can be cleaned and apps for social networking.

Students will learn to improve their thinking as they move through the program. This includes conducting market research, idea and customer explorations, prototype building, and pitches. The process encourages the ability to communicate and solve problems and teaches students how quickly they can adjust to changing conditions.

Each team competes to win funding at the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which takes place every year. It is referred to as a shark tank-style contest and offers valuable opportunities for teams to network with investors.
